V centralnih kuhinjah Vrtca Velenje pripravljamo kosila tudi za zunanje odjemalce. Število kosil za zunanje odjemalce je omejeno glede na število vpisanih otrok in zmogljivost centralnih kuhinj v enotah Lučka in Tinkara. Zaenkrat imamo vse proste kapacitete za odjem kosil žal zasedene, zato odjem kosil za nove zunanje odjemalce ni več možen.
